2014

Ahhhh!  The last day of 2014.  Feels like just last year I was writing about 2013 coming to an end and how amazing 2014 would be. Did 2014 live up to my expectations?

This year exceeded what I hoped would happen.

For starters, I got engaged, which was the best day/weekend of my life.  2014 was a year of surprises, lots of love, a few ups and downs but overall, it was definitely a joyful year. Next year, will already be a beautiful year simply because we’re getting married and I’m just so excited to begin this journey and adventure with John as husband and wife.  I have a lot to be thankful and grateful for and 2015 is just the beginning!  I hope that 2015 brings more traveling (we already have 2 trips in the works), more time with close friends and just all around happiness.  I hope that I continue to have blog growth especially as I *hope* to start on a new venture that…I thought I would be ready to write about but…not just yet.  Hopefully this time next year I’ll be writing about this mysterious venture.  What can I say?  I don’t to jinx it; I’m not even superstitious.

At any rate, I’m so proud of what 2014 has been and I’m even more excited for what 2015 is going to bring.  If I can describe this year in one word…it would be love.

We had a million meetings but after months of planning we finally launched The Chattery!

our first Chattery Class!
Since launching in March, we’ve had classes ranging from building a Mason jar terrarium, basic sign language, classic cocktails and financial fitness classes!

Threw John a successful surprise party!

Visits from our awesome friends helped make this year.

We can’t forget the best thing ever:

We got engaged!
Took trips to Destin & Boston.

Check out my city guides to both places here and here.
The reason why I think 2014 was the year of LOVE…because of the weddings we went to, I think it was 7 or 8 in total.

I learned how to make flower crowns this summer…in the sweltering heat.

Saw Outkast!!

Overall – 2014 was great.  It can only go up from here!
Cheers to a new year!
