2014 Recipe Roundup

I can’t believe that 2014 is drawing to an end. I’m pretty sure I say this every year.  The last week of December rolls around then suddenly, I’m shocked and ready (or not ready) for the year to end.  This year has been a delicious year full of yummy treats and meals that I’ve made or that I’ve had in restaurants.  All of the food I’ve had is memorable but way too long to list here on the blog.  I’m predicting that 2015 will be an even more delicious year with trips that John and I have planned to Charleston and Paris – I just want to scream thinking about it!  I’m also looking forward to cooking more tasty foods and experimenting with different flavors.  2015 is so close, I taste it…and it tastes great!

I thought I would roundup 12 of my favorite recipes that I’ve shared over the last year either here on my blog or over on my column.  It was hard to narrow it down but I did it. Looking back on some of these recipes has definitely made me need and want to revisit some of these very, very soon.  So what made my 2014 so tasty?

spicy sausage & kale soup

lemon & garlic chicken (I’ve made this several times!)

red wine braised short ribs

chicken & kale casserole

twice baked potatoes

Four Roses bourbon BBQ sauce

Now for my favorite part, the cocktails.

sage & fig bourbon smash

pear Moscow mule

spicy papaya sangria

caramel & mint iced coffee

chai infused bourbon

easy green smoothie

Looking forward to a tasty new year!
