Yes, it’s true, I’ve become one of those annoying people who likes to talk about their Nespresso machine incessantly. Honestly, we bought a Nespresso for the level of ease. I’m planning to write another post about what we love (or don’t love) about it soon. In the meantime, let’s get into one of my favorite flavor combos: honey and cinnamon. When you blend it all together, you’ll get a pretty tasty honey cinnamon latte.
Like most iced lattes, this one can easily be transformed into a hot drink, if you prefer. Just heat up or steam your milk of choice and withhold the ice, obviously. There’s something super-comforting and cozy to think about enjoying this latte in the winter, don’t you think? And while I enjoy not leaving my house for coffee, don’t it get twisted, I still like to treat myself at a local coffee shop whenever I can. Some things never change.
Since moving into our house last year, we made it a priority to setup a little coffee area so we can easily make a quick cup in the morning (or afternoon, don’t judge). I’m still not 100% done with the area – I feel like nothing is ever completely done when trying to decorate. I’m planning on doing a post on the coffee bar as soon as I gather the energy.
Make your own iced honey cinnamon latte
Even if you don’t have access to an espresso machine, you can still try to make this. You can easily replace the espresso with a strong cup of coffee, or with some of your favorite cold brew – don’t overthink it, though. Like I always say with most recipes, just have fun. It’s simply a suggestion, make it your own. Explore with ingredients and flavors! Unless of course you’re baking then I recommend following the science. Speaking from experience over here.
I’ve been experimenting a little bit with a few very easy coffee recipes that you can recreate at home and I’m looking forward to sharing more (promise, promise, I’ll share soon). It’s a great way for me to not only try out a few unique flavor combinations but also (kinda) save money at the same time – or at least that’s what I tell myself. Just let me live in delusion, please and thank you. In the meantime, try this honey cinnamon latte, you won’t regret it.
And as an added bonus, you can shop a few of my favorite coffee must-haves too (just scroll to the end of the page).
