This post is in partnership with ADEXE watches. All opinions are my own.
I used to write recaps of the weekend here on EDF every week. They got a bit redundant so I stopped. Sometimes I miss those posts, sometimes I don’t. They were awesome for revisiting what I did over the weekend but those posts were really tedious and forced me to write (which I guess could be a good thing). Anyway, I’m really excited to share a Sunday Funday post because it feels really reminiscent of the ‘good ol’ days’ here on Eat.Drink.Frolic.
This particular Sunday Funday involved my shiny new accessory: my ADEXE watch. These watches are beautiful and I love their mission: delivering the art of watch making at an affordable price point for all. Key point being an ‘affordable price point’. My new watch keeps me fashionable and on time without having to dip into my Sunday Funday budget.
For me, the ideal Sunday includes brunch, getting some work done and being lazy while watching TV with John. My Sunday’s don’t always pan out that way but I’m so thankful when they do. Also, let’s be honest, I wanted to get out of the house to show off my ADEXE watch.
Sunday Funday with Adexe Watches
OK so we started our day with coffee at Peet’s Coffee. My go-to order right now is a Black Tie – have you ever had one of these? It’s cold brew with a little sweetened condensed milk and a splash of half-and-half. It’s really a delicious caffeinated treat.
After my coffee consumption, we met some friends at the movies. Any guesses on what we saw?
Maybe you guessed it already…we saw Us. I do not do scary movies – ever. But I was a fan of Get Out so naturally we had to go to Jordan Peele’s latest movie and it did not disappoint. Have you seen it? As much as I love my new watch, I definitely was not paying attention to the time while in the theater. I was glued to the screen. With this movie, you do not want to miss a second. Trust me.
Yesterday I even managed to have another pleasant Sunday Funday with a mimosa AND brunch. Now I’m not saying my ADEXE watch had anything to do with my recent Sunday fun but it sure has made it more…what’s the word? FUN! So, are you looking to incorporate more fun on the weekend?
Sunday Funday “rules”
- Be spontaneous. Sure, brunch at a busy restaurant may require a reservation BUT if you can, be spontaneous and let the day play out as it may.
- Snag a new watch. Seriously I love my rose gold ADEXE watch. Not only will you be ON TIME for brunch but you’ll look cute too.
- Try something different. Yes, I love brunch and going to the movies on a Sunday but I’m open to trying something out of the ordinary too.
Check out three of my favorite ADEXE watches (besides the one I currently own):
