Thank you to Springer Mountain Farms for providing chicken for this recipe; all opinions and recipes are my own.
Have I ever mentioned how much I love easy main dishes that don’t consume a bunch of my time? With temperatures starting to rise (finally), I’m ready to spend a little bit of time outside going for walks or jogs. Well, let’s be honest, I’ll probably be outside enjoying a cocktail instead. Lately I’ve really been into making sauces to baste chicken with: honey sriracha sauces, barbecue, you name, I’m into it. To an outsider looking in, this process may seem a little time-consuming but trust me, it’s not. You’re not basting a turkey here, just some delicious, Springer Mountain Farms chicken thighs. The outcome will be very rewarding. Even more rewarding, making this honey garlic chicken recipe.
This year, my husband and I have tried to be more aware of the foods we buy while trying our hardest not to waste them. What that means for me is trying harder to meal plan and buying high-quality ingredients to make the process simple – that’s where Springer Mountain Farms comes into play. When I don’t have to worry about the quality of my ingredients, it helps my planning process and also saves my husband an extra trip to the market to buy me more ingredients (which has happened before).
I’m excited to share this recipe for honey garlic chicken (inspired by the folks at PopSugar) because it’s low-maintenance and really delicious. I served my Springer Mountain Farms chicken thighs over a bed of rice and sautéed green beans. Honestly, just thinking about this dish makes my mouth water.
Honey garlic chicken with Springer Mountain Farms
Just a quick note about Spring Mountain Farms – their chickens are 100% natural with no antibiotics, steroids, growth stimulants or hormones. Their chickens are also fed a vegetarian diet of American grown grains that are pesticide-free. Amazing, right? Now I understand why a lot of my favorite restaurants use Springer Mountain Farms in their dishes.
I hope you’ll go out and grab some Springer Mountain Farms chicken and make this yummy recipe soon.
