For some reason, I was really dreading Monday at the end of the weekend. Sure, it’s a struggle sometimes to get back into the swing of things after you’ve had a fun weekend but this time was tough. I couldn’t sleep at all Sunday night not sure why. Could have been too many episodes of Nurse Jackie that John and I watched…way too late at night. Or it could have been the fact that I had so much stuff going on in my mind that it caused me to simply not sleep. Either way, I’m tired and currently wishing I could have just one more day. Anyway, there’s no room for me to be droopy today because this is the start of my BIRTHDAY MONTH! Obviously, I’m excited.

This weekend John and I went to a Raekwon and Ghostface Killah concert. It was like 1995 all over again. John was super-excited so off we went. We had a lot of fun. It’s sort of eye-opening though when we go to concerts of people we listened to growing up. It’s a realization that we are getting older and the artist is definitely getting older. Weird.
