The last weekend before Christmas and I’m pretty sure I didn’t do anything Christmas related.  Sunday, John and I ran a few errands and ended up at the mall – not a good idea. I try to avoid malls as a whole and definitely the week before Christmas but I was on the hunt for something and unfortunately, my search led to me the mall…only to NOT find what I was looking for.  You know what I ended up doing?  Buying something online…the way shopping should be, right?

This week will be a short blogging week for me (just today and Wednesday) but no worries, I shall return next week well-rested and ready to party write.  I’m looking forward to not having any real plans this Christmas besides eating, resting, getting organize and spending time with my soon to be in-laws.  I think I must be the only person in the world hoping for warm weather for Christmas…is that weird?  

I think not.

I did a little baking this weekend – the results of that will be on my column soon.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE those little cans of Ocean Spray sparkling juices – they’re great by themselves or in a cocktail too!
