The change in seasons has definitely reared its cool head.  Not sure what really happened this weekend but there was definitely a shift in temperature and it was a little chilly. The days are warm but the nights are cool.  It makes for a challenging way to get dressed in the mornings because by the time noon rolls around, it’s 80 degrees outside.  John and I followed the crowd this weekend and saw Gone Girl and prior to the movie, I had a delicious duck pasta from Hennen’s; I’m surprised I didn’t fall asleep in the movie from all the starch. The pasta was so good, I’m wondering if I can recreate it at home…hmmmm.  

We spent the rest of the weekend having dinner with John’s parents, having a little brunch and prepping for the week ahead.  Just between us, I’m hoping this week goes by much faster than last week did.  

Frozen hot chocolates are starting to really become a staple in my weekend.  If the weather continues to cool down, this may have been the last weekend of me indulging in one of those.
