Pickled Jalapeños

Well, I pickled some jalapeños.  I found a super-easy recipe and thought I should try it…too easy.  My love for jalapeños is real.  I love them.  I don’t love them as much as I love ketchup but the love is still there. The great thing about pickling jalapeños (or anything for that matter) is that you have this surplus of [insert whatever you’re pickling] for a while to add to dishes. I’m planning on baking some chicken soon and you can believe I’ll be scattering these little things all over them.  Hmmmmm.

I made a GIF that I thought I would share but it didn’t quite turn out that spectacular so I quickly got over it. Don’t be afraid of this mixture of ingredients (the Sprite through me off at first). Once the ingredients settle with the peppers for a bit, the flavors really come together.  I’m pretty sure I’ll try this again.
