Tourist Adventures

I’ve lived in Atlanta for 5 years now and I heart this town!  I especially love when friends visit and they can explore the same city that I live in.  The history that Atlanta has is amazing and it was such an enjoyable experience frolicking around the historical Auburn Avenue with my out of town guests.  Being a tourist in the city you live in is an amazing weekend venture…

Thanks to my lovely friend Serena for being the photographer during her visit!  I thought I would try something different with the pictures in this post…thanks to Picnik!

 {Martin Luther King Jr.’s birth home}

 {Martin & Coretta Scott King’s resting place}

{smothered chicken @ the historical Busy Bee Cafe}
Having friends in town gave me an opportunity to really enjoy Atlanta for great city that it really is!  Playing tourist in the city that you live in is an activity that everyone should enjoy once in while.  I’m already plotting my next tourist experience…can’t wait!
