I’m the person advertising execs love! I see a fun, colorful commercial for some lovely product and I’m all over it. You won’t believe how many random items I’ve purchased just because it looked nice on t.v. or looked pretty on the shelf at the store. *sigh*
As I peruse down the aisle of the grocery store, I leisurely discover a huge bag of Lay’s potato chips plastered with the word “NEW” on it. You already know, I’m all over it! I figured it was quite a coincidence that I purchased these Cajun chips right before I was to leave for a trip to New Orleans. Perfect. This HAS to be sign…right?
Well, were they good? Sure. Were they great? Absolutely not. They were sort of flavorful, but lacked a bit of salt and seemed a little “tough”. I know that’s really odd to describe chips as tough, but it was the weirdest thing I’ve snacked on recently.
The fab thing about this bag is that Lay’s decided to put the Cajun spice rub recipe used on the chips on the back of the bag! Nice.
Even with this nice gesture, I think I’ll move on to the next snack!
