So around my birthday, I always do a lot of thinking and planning for the year ahead. I try to reflect upon what I’ve done so far and what I’d like to do in the upcoming future. I love my birthday and even though I can sometimes get too bogged down into the birthday planing process or the daunting task of trying to find just the right birthday vacation venue, it really is an important time of the year for me beyond all of that crazy stuff.
This year, I’m taking this reflection/planning really seriously. For the first time in my life I’ve written a list. Just kidding, I write lists all the time. But seriously, I’ve written a list that sort of maps out what the next 12 months will look like. I’ve written a list of 34 tasks that I’d like to accomplish in the next 12 months…before I turn 34. Hence the 34×34 title. The list consists of tasks that are exciting and thrilling but items that will challenge me to actually get things done that I’ve been putting off for quite some time. I’m excited.
So today, I thought I’d share a few items from my list. Don’t worry, I won’t bore you with the entire list but just a few highlights. Also, as a side note, the older you get, the more daunting these lists are. Geez.
Have a great Labor Day weekend!
Love this idea! I've got a friend in Nashville that loves snail mail! 😉
