It’s tiiiiiiime! It’s my favorite time of the year when I get to share my holiday gift guide. I generally spend all year planning and figuring out this list and I enjoy putting it together. This year, on the backend, I actually got more organized and started a spreadsheet archive of gifts included on past guides. It’s all categorized and color-coded, *chef’s kiss*.
Two reminders from last year:
- I added a new category, home goods
- there are now 6 items per category instead of 5
As a refresher, here’s my 2023 gift guide in case you’re interested in checking it out. OK, let’s get shopping.

2024 Holiday Gift Guide
- Albany Park Kova Sectional Sofa (currently on sale)
OK – this isn’t budget-friendly nor is it necessarily a gift you’d give to someone else (or maybe it is). But if you’re hunting for a new couch, this is the time of year to consider purchasing. We bought our Kova Sectional over a year ago so I’ve had plenty of time to ensure it holds up – and it does. My two highlights are: the performance fabric and how easy it is to reconfigure.
SHOP: Albany Park Kova Sofa | prices vary - Daher Cleaning Services (Chattanooga-based)
I love having someone else clean my house. It’s also a great gift to give a busy parent, entrepreneur, or family — and this is the company we use. Contact them to get a gift card or pay for a service for a deserving person.
SHOP: Daher Cleaning | services & prices vary - Gold Espresso Spoons
The perfect gift for the at-home coffee aficionado. They come in other colors as well.
SHOP: Gold Espresso Spoons (Amazon) | $8 - Pasta Bowls (set of 4)
Everyone needs pasta bowls. For some reason they make everything look and taste better.
SHOP: Pasta Bowls (Amazon)| $42, non-Prime members; $32, Prime members - Ruidla Fabric Shaver
This is very useful when your sweaters get those hideous little balls of fabric on them. It’s also deeply satisfying to use.
SHOP: Ruidla Fabric Shaver (Amazon) | $14, non-Prime members; $13 Prime members - Motion sensor under cabinet lighting (5 pack)
These are great! We use them under our cabinets in the kitchen and in our closets. They’re chargeable and come with a remote.
SHOP: Motion Sensor Lights (Amazon) | $40
- NYT Cooking Subscription (repeat from 2023)
I’m repeating this because I’ve used it so much this year. I can’t stress enough how useful a NYT Cooking subscription is to the novice or experienced cook in your life.
SHOP: NYT Cooking Subscription | $50 (for the year) - Chattanooga Favorites Gift Card Bundle
Most of the time, you can find me at the same handful of places in Chattanooga and I may be biased but gift cards to these spots make great gifts. When in doubt, snag a gift card to one (or all) of these:
- I’ll Bring Dessert Cookbook by Benji Ebuehi
Benji is one of my favorite Instagram follows so I was thrilled when I learned she was writing a cookbook. She makes the most beautiful (and delicious) dishes you’ve ever seen.
SHOP: I’ll Bring Dessert Cookbook | $35 - The Fishwife Cookbook (pre-order)
OK, I love all things Fishwife. Their branding is great and their products are even better. I’m thrilled they have a cookbook and it’s available for pre-order. You’ll find recipes like rainbow trout tacos, fisherman’s stew and more.
SHOP: The Fishwife Cookbook | $30 - Canned cocktail bundle
Consider getting the person in your life who likes to imbibe a canned cocktail bundle. Here are my favorites:
- Fishwife Starter Pack
Yes, a repeat Fishwife mention (that’s how much I love them). Tinned fish has had a bit of an elevated resurgence recently and the Fishwife brand is top tier. If you’re on the fence, try their starter pack – it has a little bit of everything.
SHOP: Fishwife Starter Pack | $78
- Doc Martens 1460 Women’s Virginia Leather Boots
I’ve had these for a bit and as Dr. Marten’s go – they’re durable and worth the cost. I have these in “muted green” (sold out) but they come in other colors too.
SHOP: Doc Marten’s 1460 Leather Boots | $170 - Auden Pajama Set
I love a pajama set and honestly, I live in these. They’re comfortable and affordable (at Target).
SHOP: Auden Pajama Set | $17.50 on sale (reg. $25) - Nuuly gift card
I tried Nuuly for the first time last year after needing something to wear for a special event. It’s a great option for folks who are limiting how often they purchase clothes and try renting pieces instead.
SHOP: Nuuly gift card | amounts range from $25 to $1500 - Soma gift card
For my 40th bday, I decided I needed to get properly fitted for a bra so off I went to Soma. The experience was great and their products are worth it. They have bras, panties, sleepwear and more.
SHOP: Soma gift card - Adidas Swift Run 23 Sneaker
I bought these shoes mainly for playing tennis and I love them. They’re comfortable and the most lightweight shoes I’ve ever owned.
SHOP: Adidas Swift Run 23 | $63 on sale ($90 reg. price) - COACH Ergo Bag
I love this little purse! The color I bought (pink) is not available anymore but they have so many colors available including one adorned with bows.
SHOP: Coach Ergo bag | $250
- Violette_FR Bisou Balm
I bought the Bisou Balm in the color “sucette” and I love it. It took me a while to come around to it but after watching a video from the founder explaining the brand and this product in particular, I knew I wanted to include it in my gift guide. It’s a sheer matte lipstick and it’s lovely.
SHOP: Violette_FR Bisou Balm | $29 - A Love Song for Ricki Wilde
If there’s a book lover in your life, try A Love Song for Ricki Wilde by Tia Williams — a love story that spans multiple eras. If you can purchase this book from your local bookstore, please support them before clicking the shopping link below.
SHOP: A Love Song for Ricki Wilde | $18 - Southern Soul Yoga 1 month membership
When I decide to take Pilates, this is where I go. A one-month unlimited package is the perfect gift for someone who may be on the fence about pilates, yoga or even trying ReForm 45.
SHOP: Unlimited one-month membership | $129 (yoga/mat pilates), $229 (ReForm 45) - UNbrush
This brush is perfect for pain-free hair detangling. I use it for Mason and myself and we love it.
SHOP: The UNbrush | $18 - Skincare Beauty Basics Bundle
For the person who wants to start a simple skincare routine, here are my suggestions for a straightforward starting point:

- Fringe Studio Notebook
I included this notebook brand in my 2022 guide and still exclusively buy notebooks from them. Look for “journals” on their website.
SHOP: Fringe Studio Notebooks | $12-$24
- Magnetic toilet seat
This is honestly more for the parents than the toddler but if you’re toilet training, these make it so easy. The whole family can use the same toilet since this seat easily attaches to the toilet. 10/10
SHOP: Magnetic toilet seat (Amazon) | $37 - Altec Lansing Bluetooth headphones
These volume-limiting headphones are great when Mason has tablet time.
SHOP: Bluetooth headphones (Amazon) | $13 - Peppa Pig Electronic Reader
I bought this on a whim and so far so good. It comes with 8 books that kiddos can read along to.
SHOP: Peppa Pig Reader | $19 - Simple Modern kids water bottle
We decided to upgrade Mason’s water bottle so her water stays cold throughout the stay. It was well worth the upgrade!
SHOP: Simple Modern water bottle (Amazon) | $18 - Clothing Rack
I love this for Mason’s room and it gives her a bit more independence to be able to pick out her clothes. It’s the perfect height for a toddler.
SHOP: Clothing rack (Amazon) | $75, non-Prime members; $67, prime members - Gigglescape Family Card Games
This variety pack is wonderful if you have a little one at home who’s old enough to understand basic card game rules. You can find games like Old Maid, Go Fish and more.
SHOP: Gigglescape card games | $5
