Easter weekend.
Since John and I started dating, we’ve had a tradition of going to Nashville with his parents for Easter. This time around, we did things a bit differently. Saturday after a busy day of Brunch Collective and John working a full day, we hopped in the car and drove to Macon, GA. We decided to spend Easter Sunday with John’s grandmother of some of his immediate family. So glad we did that – we don’t get to see them that often so this weekend was definitely needed.
We made it back home with just enough time to eat dinner, watch The Good Wife (so sad it’s ending) and try and get some work done.
Despite the craziness of this weekend (spending most of it in the car), this weekend was really magical. Our spring brunch (Brunch Collective) went amazingly well and was truly inspirational. I’m so encouraged by the women who attended and the stories that were shared. Can’t wait for the summer brunch.
I forgot to mention that the weekend started out with John and I being able to have a Friday brunch. The day ended with my friend Jennifer and I taking a whiskey tour at the Chattanooga Whiskey distillery and somehow riding an electric bike – not sure how the two things are related.
Hope you had a great weekend, happy Monday!
