Burnt Butter Pear Ginger Crumble

I love the blogger behind Shutterbean. I follow her (Tracy) on Instagram and Snapchat and once a week I like to visit her blog and see what she’s been up to. I’ve pinned a few recipes from her and have recently become obsessed with her attention to detail and how she organizes things in her home. Because I follow her on Snapchat, I get an insiders view of her organizing her prop closet or getting her recipes organized. For this reason, I’ve recently become very inspired to finally get my out of control recipe notebook in some sort of order that wouldn’t drive me crazy. I read a lot of food magazines so a lot of times, I tear out recipes from these magazines and just stuff them in a notebook and pray that I’ll find it when I need it but now, I’m much more organized than I ever was, which makes me very happy.

Anyway, on her blog, she shared a recipe for a pear crumble that sounded really easy and quite tasty too. I’m always looking for really easy and simple but flavorful desserts to make and this one was top of the list. The last crumble recipe I made (and one of the most popular posts of 2015) was from Shutterbean so this gal knows her crumbles.

Full recipe: Burnt butter pear ginger crumble // I omitted the walnuts simply because I don’t like them. I think this recipe would be great with the addition of rum or whiskey.
