So, my friend Monica alerted me to this Instagram account, Drake on Cake – it’s pretty neat. I was so excited when she told me about it that I didn’t even realize that it’s owned by one of my favorite bloggers, Joy the Baker. Anyway, this weekend wasn’t super exciting in the photography world, which is why I decided to share a photo of my new favorite Instagram account and just tell you about my weekend with words.

It was supposed to be a weekend full of John and I getting our home together for Christmas dinner but I don’t know what happened because we actually didn’t do much of that. There’s still this week, right? We got a chance to see our friends’ new baby; they were visiting from Atlanta. OMG. She’s adorbs. We ran a few errands on Sunday, which really means another trip to Target. Goodness, most of my money this holiday season has been spent in Target. I’m over the holidays already (OK not really). I’m excited to make this pie, from Carla Hall, on Christmas. I’m not too keen on the name so I think I’ll rename it but it looks delicious and super-easy.
