This was a pretty busy weekend. Friday, John and I had dinner with another couple at one of our favorite places, Main Street Meats. It was super-last minute but sometimes the last minute, unplanned plans are the best kinds. Saturday was our annual Mainx24 event where for 24 hours there are nonstop events happening on Main Street. It’s usually always a good time. The Chattery had a speed learning event, which garnered a pretty good crowd and was a lot of fun. Speed learning is sort of like speed dating but less awkward and you actually learn things – it’s pretty cool.
I baked some cookies Saturday morning. I had a little trouble with the first batch of cookeis but luckily the second batch turned out perfectly. Baking gives me a little trouble sometimes. Sunday I met up with my friend Charity of Revel Pastry Company for brunch. It’s always nice to catch up a bit.
