I’m feeling like I got a lot done over the weekend. I’m still organizing and purging things in our apartment; I just have to realize that this little task will take a while, especially when trying to coordinate the purging of some of John’s things…haha.  Anyway, we went to a movie Friday evening (excuse my not-manicured hands in the photo above) and saw the new Kevin Hart & Will Ferrell movie, Get Hard. Pretty funny. I wanted to do a little cooking on Saturday but I didn’t get around to it, instead, I worked on our new bar cart that we got as a wedding gift…priorities.

I excitedly used our new juicer and I’m obsessed. Yes, I’ve only made one thing but I’m planning to use it a lot more for some delicious juice making. This week is a short work week (hooray) and John and I have a pretty full weekend planned starting with Friday…so excited! I just realized we’re seeing 3 comedy shows this month; the first one being this Friday. At our wedding, we wrote our own vows and I vowed to always make laughter a part of our family so, we’ll keep that dream alive by going to comedy shows.

I finally found some time to do a little magazine reading, had my first whiskey & coke slushie of the year, breakfast with John on Sunday and we had our annual Easter egg “hunt” at his parents’ house. Looking forward to a short but productive week.
