You know, there are just times when you have to have a milkshake so why not go all out and have a donut milkshake, right? Occasionally, I crave milkshakes; I don’t act on those cravings that often but when I do, I savor it. I usually regret it immediately after, though, let’s be honest. One thing I don’t think twice about is Monkey Town Donuts. Monkey Town is a local donut truck and it’s so addictive; it’s really like donut heaven. They sell donuts (obviously), French press coffee and in the fall they have apple cider. The donuts are served warm with tons of cinnamon and sugar. It warms my soul every time I visit this truck. For this reason, I HAD to share a donut milkshake recipe using their products.
John and I really wanted Monkey Town to be the dessert option at our wedding but unfortunately, we weren’t able to get them. At any rate, I’m still in love with Monkey Town Donuts and our love grows every weekend that we frolic to the Chattanooga Market. The best thing? The donuts come in a bucket! Yes, a bucket. It’s the cutest (and most delicious) thing ever. I guess it’s perfect for sharing even though I’d rather eat the entire bucket myself. I thought I could combine my occasional craving for a milkshake with my undying love with Monkey Town Donuts and create a donut milkshake recipe. Oh yeah.
They’re so cute, right? Since they’re small, I feel like it’s OK to eat a number of them. That’s normal thinking isn’t it? That’s probably not a valid thought process but I’m going with it. So here’s how I created this little bit of magic, ready? It’s so easy and you can make any flavor of donuts.
How to create a yummy donut milkshake recipe
