Menus & Music: Corinne (Bailey’s) Rae

I love food (duh) and I love music.  I’ve said that many times here before.  In October, I mentioned and ‘debuted’ a new and very sporadic series entitled menus and music. This series combines two of my favorite things: food and music. Shocker.  In case you missed my first mention of this, here’s a brief rundown of how this works: I pick some food item, share a recipe, relate it to a musician and sometimes craft some nifty/lame little title.  Through all of this, I’ll also be sharing my favorite song of the artist chosen.  Sounds fun, right?  I think so. For this edition, I made a super simple dessert that obviously involves Bailey’s.  Keep scrolling for the recipe and my favorite Corinna Bailey Rae song.

On the MenuBailey’s & Cream
Bailey’s (I used the orginal flavor but cinnamon or caramel would be delicious)
Fresh brewed coffee
Vanilla ice cream
Cinnamon

Brew coffee; pour into a mug or serving glass.
Add a scoop of ice cream and generously pour Bailey’s over the ice cream.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Still figuring out this GIF thing.

And for my favorite Corinne Bailey Rae song…
