After searching for the perfect bar cart, which seemed like an eternity, I finally stopped and regrouped.  The bar cart process was tiresome simply because the carts were either too over the top or way over my price range. After perusing on Pinterest, I came across an idea to turn a bookcase into a bar.  Now, my bar isn’t as detailed as ones I’ve seen online but I love it.  I have to say, my bar has definitely grown in content since the photo (above) was taken but I’m looking forward to it continuing to grow!

I put a little chalkboard above the bar for fun, random messages (purchased here at Ikea). I used chevron designed drawer liners (purchased from Open Sky) as the back of the bar. Easiest solution for a bar if you’re looking bar cart alternatives!
