Pet Peeves

Everyone has things that annoy them.  I, like most people, have a lot of pet peeves.  So many, I could probably write a book…but I won’t, don’t worry.  Check my relatively *short* list of pet peeves…

  1. Hearing other people chew (gross)
  2. Driving obnoxiously slow (you should at least be doing the speed limit)
  3. Incorrectly pronouncing words…all the time (can’t pronounce it/can’t have it)
  4. Putting ketchup in the refrigerator (yuck)
  5. Waiters/Waitresses who say “everything’s good” when you ask for a recommendation (yes, I understand everything is tasty, but I can’t order everything on the menu – ugh)
  6. Not planning properly (I have enough chaos, I don’t need to endure the results of someone else’s poor planning…right?)
  7. Loud cell phone conversations (the whole store doesn’t need to know that you’re having a fight with your boyfriend)
  8. “Text talk” (I understand shortening texts because we’re limited to only a few characters but: “wha u doin lata. r u busy? call me plz.” is unacceptable if you’re over the age of 23)
  9. Annoying voicemail (if you MUST leave a voicemail, it should reflect a summary of what you were going to say had I answered – not “hey, call me back”)

Ok, I’m done…not going to give you 10 pet peeves.  It’s your turn.  What are some of your pet peeves?
