Not too long ago, I asked around for a recommendation to see what store-bought pesto sauce was a tasty choice.  Yes, I know…I can easily make my own but I wanted to have an alternative.

I went with Classico Pesto Sauce. It was a great decision!  I figured with store bought sauces you never get the exact flavor that you’re looking for but the Classico brand was spot on!

I made pesto chicken. Very easy and quick. I layered the pan with the pesto sauce first…

Then topped the sauce with seasoned chicken…

I added more pesto sauce and baked!  To make it all come together…I topped it with mozzarella cheese! Delish.
