Birthday Love

So, on this very lovely Monday, I love…birthday love.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday and in doing so, I’ve slightly neglected my blog.  I guess that’s a sign of a good birthday.

I was surprised beyond belief with the most beautiful surprise party at the rooftop of The Glen Hotel.  Filled with the most gorgeous people in Atlanta (they’re my friends so I’m biased) and my fave little treats…who could ask for anything more.

The weekend of birthday debauchery continued with a small gathering at my place that resulted in an empty plate of ice cream sandwiches, empty vodka bottles & a sink full of dishes.
I managed to take a pic of the last ice cream sandwich
As if the birthday parties weren’t enough, my fab friends were very thoughtful and creative in their gift giving this year.  I swear, I don’t know what I would do without these lovelies in my life.

I also was oh so lucky to receive a tool kit!  I own absolutely nothing that would classify me as being “handy”.  I want to do so many DIY projects but it’s quite difficult when you have no tools.  Because I have such thoughtful friends, I’m now set with a massive tool set and the best part of it all is that…it’s PINK!  Now I can move on to my DIY project, floating vases.  So cute.

All in all, I had a fab birthday and I couldn’t be happier.  Happy Monday!
