If it’s one thing I love, it’s a good food festival. If it’s a food festival with adult beverages, you can definitely count me in. Today, I’m excited to host a ticket giveaway to one of the most anticipated food events in Chattanooga, Wine Over Water.
Let’s talk about Wine Over Water for a second.
Wine Over Water (WOW) is the premier wine and food tasting event hosted by and benefiting Cornerstones, Inc. (more on that organization in a second). This event features hundreds of wines with local food and music – all to celebrate the history and preservation of Chattanooga. This is where Cornerstones comes in. Cornerstones is Chattanooga’s only non-profit historic preservation organization. They exist to preserve the architectural heritage and urban fabric of Chattanooga and bring new life to historic buildings in the city. Pretty neat, right?
Now that you know what you’re supporting when attending WOW, let’s talk about what this year’s festival will bring. Oh it’s going to be good.

Wine Over Water will take place October 5-8 with the main event, taking place on Saturday, October 7th. What’s really exciting about this year’s festival is that it marks the addition of multiple events taking place ‘off the bridge’. This means WOW has made the shift to a multi-day festival highlighting Chattanooga’s culinary scene. YES!
The weekend starts with a five-course wine dinner at St. John’s Restaurant and ends with a bubbly yoga presented by Veuve Clicquot at Feed. In addition to the main event, there’s also an exclusive wine tasting, brewery tours and lots more.

I’m giving away ONE TICKET ($75 value) to the main event, Wine Over Water on the Walnut Street Bridge. This event takes place on Saturday, October 7th from 5-8pm. There’s hundreds of wines to sample, food from local restaurants and live music.

As everyone else I’m most excited about the wine!! I’m about to have my one year anniversary of moving to Chattanooga and I had only lived here a couple weeks when last years Wine Over Water so I did not know about it since I was so new. I was so bummed when I heard months later about the event and how I wouldn’t want to miss it the next time! I would love to be able to go this year and indulge in the wine and food while enjoying looking at this beautiful city!!

The last wine over water even I attended was in 2008. There was an awesome wine that had every flavor fruit and tastes like jolly ranchers. I’ve wanted to attend every year since but life just keeps happening! If I won a ticket, I would have no choice but to go and invite a friend!

My husband and I love downtown Chatt. It will be his 50th birthday on Oct 7th. No better way to celebrate than being on the water with all the wine. We have have never been to this event before and it would be a great gift.

My mom and I started making WOW a lmao annua tradition and as of last year we started acquiring some friends who were interested too! This year we have 3 couples coming from WI to be apart of WOW 2017 and I can’t wait to see them! I also love that the event is on the walking bridge so they get to see Chattanooga in all her glory!

I’ve done WOW for the last 9 years and every years it’s been great, rain or shine. Food, friends, great wines and a great atmosphere.

I’ve never been able to attend wine over water because I’m always working in the downtown area… but somehow end up with glasses because people leave them in my bar/restaurant. This year I am going… even if I go alone.. Chattanooga is such a beautiful city.. why not enjoy it over water with endless amounts of wine and beautiful people??
