Sometimes I see a recipe and it immediately grabs my attention. That’s how I felt when I saw today’s baked Ritz crackers on Half Baked Harvest. I’m always looking for really easy appetizers to serve and these were ridiculously easy and not to mention, they’re really flavorful. Let’s be honest though, Ritz crackers are good on their own, right? Even if you don’t season them up and bake them, they’re really buttery and quite honestly, addictive.
Baked Ritz crackers are one of those recipes that will be a wonderful addition to a charcuterie board or as a standalone snack. Now that I think about it, these crackers would make an awesome road trip snack. Just pop them in a Ziploc bag and you’re good to go. There’s so much going on in my life right now that Ziploc bag snacks sound like a great idea currently.
Anyway, writing about crackers is kind of boring.
Baked Ritz Crackers – make them!
I think I have writer’s block when it comes to talking about these crackers. I don’t have a cute anecdotal story to share with you. Nothing funny happened while I was making them – nada. I’ve experimented with crackers before (try these cinnamon sugar crackers) but there was something about these savory Ritz crackers that really piqued my taste buds’ interest.
You can keep these crackers in an airtight container for up to two weeks. I didn’t change the recipe at all but I think cumin would be a good spice addition; it would pair well with the Worcestershire sauce.
I’m not going to keep you here any longer to see how I’m struggling to talk about these baked Ritz crackers. Just head to Half Baked Harvest to try it for yourself.
