Another weekend has come and gone and I wish the weather would have been more cooperative but you can’t have everything that you want. John and I celebrated a friend’s birthday – there have been so many birthdays this month, I can barely keep up!  I picked up some new reading material, which is always important and just how I like to end the weekend.  I’m looking forward to a great week…if the sun comes out.

We took a lovely walk to a little park near my house and hung out for a bit Sunday afternoon; always a good idea to get some fresh air.  If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see that last weekend I posted a photo of me prepping some vodka to be infused with blueberry and mint.  I cracked it open last night and made a cocktail – can’t wait to share it later this week!
