What a crazy fun and tiring weekend.  Before I go any further into this post, let me first say: no, I did not turn 64 over the weekend.  Granted, I did have an early birthday celebration (the big day is actually Wednesday) but we also celebrated boyfriend’s dad’s birthday over the weekend.  So much fun.  We had a lovely birthday dinner, trip to the movies (2 Guns with Denzel Washington and Marky Mark Mark Wahlberg) and a little birthday party at my place.  Good times.  The rest of the weekend was filled with good drinks, great company and a visit from my best friend!

Where do I begin?!  I started reading a book, Blog Inc., written by one of my favorite bloggers (Oh Joy!). Great book if you’re thinking of starting a blog or if you’re trying to beef up an existing one.  Not breaking news but I bought some new straws for my bar, no one cared but I love them.  Not sure what I’m going to do with the tiny bottle of Absolut Cilantro but it was $1.00 at the liquor store so I had to buy it…right?  I have a few ideas up my sleeve and hopefully they won’t be too weird. I had a delicious *early* birthday dinner at 1885 Grill – can’t wait to go back.  

Naturally, I spent the rest of the weekend infusing vodka.  Wait, what? That transition made no sense.
