So there’s this cookbook called eat tweet and it’s fantastic. I say it’s fantastic because of the premise. It’s not a your typical cookbook though; all of the recipes are in Twitter-speak (i.e. 140 characters or less). There are lots of abbreviations and in this book a semi-colon means ‘next’ and a comma means ‘then’. Sure you have to read chart of symbols in the beginning of the book to ensure you truly understand all of the recipes but where some may find it a little annoying, I thought it was quite cool. I knew I wanted to make a recipe out of it and share it and so I did. Very easy recipe; just a handful of ingredients and I’ll share the recipe in 140 characters or less. I changed the original recipe just a bit but you won’t be disappointed, I’m sure.
Orange Butter Tilapia – adapted from eat tweet
Mix t salt|1/2t pep|2T oj&zest|3T mltdbutter. Top4lgt or drk fillet. 15m@450 or grill until flaky.
t = teaspoon
T = tablespoon
The original recipe called for nutmeg but quite honestly, I wasn’t in the mood to experiment with adding nutmeg to fish.
There are a lot of recipes ranging from desserts to cocktails in this book. If you’re a fan of Twitter, you may like this; it’s short and to the point. Send me a note if you make this recipe!
