I was so thankful for this weekend.  The first couple of days of this week will be super busy – my job is having our annual fundraiser Tuesday and it’s a pretty big deal.  The sun was shining this weekend which is always nice.  Event better?  John and I did absolutely nothing on Sunday.  We need more days like that.

I started the weekend by having a delicious Sidecar.  Saturday I visited a new friend of mine who sells delicious pies.  As if pie wasn’t enough, I found the time to fit in a strawberry-basil truffle.  Good weekend.
