The Weekend…2012 in Review

Another year has [almost] gone by and what a year it’s been!  So many changes and wonderful things have happened in my life in 2012 and I wouldn’t change anything for the world!].  With 2013 rapidly approaching (in just a few hours) I’m very excited with what this next year will bring!

2012 in Review:

Made ginger simple syrup and some questionable yet random purchases…

Ate way too many desserts at Empire State South

Gave up meat for Lent.  These spinach burgers were my absolute favorite…

Found time to have margaritas…always

Finally attended the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival…

Shared laughs and celebrated many birthdays with some of my amazing friends…

Became OBSESSED with the gigantic pancakes at Aretha Frankensteins

Tasted the deliciousness that is a Jack & Coke slushie…

Took a trip to DC…

Went to Nashville and finally tried Prince’s Hot Chicken and Pancake Pantry (yum!)…

Turned 30 (yikes!)…

Went to Dominican Republic with two of my girlfriends…

After 7 years, I said ‘farewell’ to Atlanta…

Found a new place in Chattanooga…

Tried my hand at a couple of DIY projects…

Had my first set of visitors in Chattanooga…

Got reunited with 2 of my closest friends…

Had my first holiday party here in Chattanooga…

Which brings me to this past weekend, which was pretty low-key. There’s one photo from the weekend that sums it up pretty well…

Happy. [new year]
