This past weekend I hosted a small holiday gathering with a sequins and bow tie theme. It was so much fun hanging out with friends and seeing everyone participate in the party dress code. Here are a few photos from my weekend:

I had a fantastic time entertaining friends and planning this little fiesta. Can’t wait until it’s time to do it again!  The whiskey punch was by far my favorite!  Definitely will be making it again and it’s perfect for parties.  Recipe below:

Whiskey Punch – adapted from Mint Love Social Club

• 1 handle of bourbon (I used Evan Williams but Makers Mark will work too)
• 12 oz real grenadine – emphasis on real.  Real grenadine has pomegranate and is not Rose’s brand.
• 1 1/2 cups fresh orange juice
• 1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice
• 3/4 cup of simple syrup
• 8 heavy dashes angostura bitters
• orange peels from a few oranges (lemons will be fine too)
