Finally…the weekend is here. For some reason I’ve been counting down the days until Friday got here and I couldn’t be happier that it’s finally upon us.
This week was a slow week in my blog world (which is rather unfortunate) however, it’s mainly because I’ve been testing a couple of new recipes (skillet rosemary chicken & strawberry bread…recipes and pictures coming soon). But I did find time to read a few mags (the new copy of Bon Appetit is sitting quietly in my drawer at work waiting to be read).
I dabbled with a little Fresh Berries & Sweet Cream…
This is the most delicious & simplest dessert I’ve had in a long time!
While waiting for all of my dish experiments to bake, I perused my fave sites and found this great and very clever idea from Whole Foods: The Pizza “greenbox”, pretty neat. Check out the video demonstration/explanation below:
I also found this FAB idea on Cupcakes & Cashmere that I cannot wait to try! I’m not the most handy person (nor do I own a drill) but I’ve enlisted one of my besties to help!
Lastly, on a leisurely trip to Whole Foods, I found a wonderful little fruit: champagne mangoes! I’ve never heard of such a thing but I had to buy it. I haven’t tried it yet, but I can’t wait! I even found a website explaining what exactly champagne mangoes are. Check it out here.
