Test Kitchen Frolic: Chicken Parmesan Burgers

Recently I decided to tackle Bon Appetit’s recipe for Chicken Parmesan Burgers.

Now, I must admit, I switched it up a bit.  I used a different type of bread than the one suggested in the recipe.  Not for any particular reason, just because it looked good.  One reason why I jumped at this recipe was because of its use of basil…I love basil!

{basil used for marinara sauce & the breadcrumb mixture}
 {ground chicken+grated onion+salt&pepper+marinara sauce}
**I added a little garlic salt too!**
{the breaded result: ground chicken patties+breadcrumb mixture}
{breadcrumb mixture=Italian breadcrumbs+grated parmesan cheese & basil}
{
{the outcome: sweet Italian rolls topped w/radicchio leaves,basil leaves, chicken burger, fresh mozzarella cheese & warm marinara sauce}
I decided to serve my burgers with McCain’s Sweet Potato Fries.  Delicious and faster than homemade.
Result: Pretty tasty and really easy to duplicate.  Will definitely make this a part of my dinner menus.  Your thoughts?
