If you haven’t figured it out already, it’s my birthday week! I’m celebrating all month (duh) but especially this week. What says celebration more than champagne? I can’t really think of anything else…well, besides fireworks and confetti but whatever.
Since this week is all about champagne and fun times, I figured I’d show you how to make a classic champagne cocktail. It’s ridiculously easy; we should be drinking these all of the time because of how simple and refreshing it is. And let’s be honest, drinking champagne just makes all of us feel really fun and fancy.
All you’ll need for this classic champers cocktail is:
champagne
sugar cubes
angostura bitters
lemon twist
If you follow me on Snapchat (username: eatdrinkfrolic), you saw last week I showed you how to make one of these. And by the way, because it’s [almost] my birthday, go follow me on Snapchat.
Anyway, drop a sugar cube in a champagne flute and soak the sugar cube with bitters; you’ll see it change colors.
Top with champagne and add a lemon twist. It’s that simple.
