Technically, my weekend started on Thursday – or at least it felt like it. John and I went out with some friends including one of his BFF’s from high school who was in town from DC.  We started at Local 191 which is starting to become one of my favorite drink places; they have drink specials until 10pm or something ridiculous like that.  I finally tried Lamar’s for the first time.  I’ve heard so much about this place but had never stepped foot inside.  Lamar’s was just as I suspected: seedy and dark but a good choice for a random night of drinking.  The drinks are strong and they’re obviously in no rush to update their jukebox.  

Boyfriend and I took a little walk Friday afternoon to grab some Chinese food; nothing cures a hangover like Chinese food in case you’re wondering.  Dinner at Urban Stack meant I was stuffed for the rest of the night and I’m loving my new polka dot jeans…from Target!  I decided to make John and I some breakfast Sunday – not sure what to really call it. An open-faced egg sandwich?  Toastada (instead of tostada)?  Whatever it’s called, it had sriracha.
