Such a fun weekend. I met some amazing people both on Saturday and Sunday so that’s always a good sign of a successful weekend. Friday, John and I frolicked to our favorite breakfast spot (Bluegrass Grill) for little treat. Saturday I attended an awesome Digital Undivided event at Chattanooga’s Society of Work. The event was facilitated by my friend Seun and featured blogger, entrepreneur and founder of Digital Undivided, Kathryn Finney – who was amazing! Seriously. She was so helpful and informative. You may be familiar with her blog, The Budget Fashionista. She started her blog before blogging was even a thing and now it’s grown into such an empire. It’s quite inspiring. Sunday, I went to brunch and met some pretty cool people including a couple who I discovered lives in the building next to me. Needless to say, we’ll be hanging out pretty soon. The rest of the weekend (what was left of it) was full of a couple of meetings and trying knock off items off of my to do list, which is always a battle…
I got some new reading material this weekend: a book by Alice Waters and InStyle magazine, a very important read. I’m finding that the busier I get, the more pizza becomes part of my weekend routine – at least its delicious pizza.
This week on my blog, it’s the week of love! Everyday this week, I’m sharing posts that deal with subjects that I just absolutely heart. First up is…food (shocker).
Happy Monday!
