Last Monday, there was no weekend post, which was really sad.  I had a sort of crazy weekend and it just wouldn’t translate into words or photos so, I’m back.  I was quite surprised at the weather this weekend.  Last week, temperatures were in the single digits and over the weekend it was as warm as 60 degrees! I’m definitely not complaining though.  I’ve said multiple times: I can do without all four seasons…especially winter.  No thanks.  Anyway, John and I did frolic off to a movie Friday, which was really nice.  August: Osage County was our movie of choice and I thought it was really good; Meryl Streep is awesome.  Did you watch any of the Golden Globes?  Generally, those awards shows don’t really interest me too much (I do watch the Grammy’s though) but I was quite entertained by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler; love them. 

I had my first Pimm’s Cup Friday. I know, hard to believe I’ve never had Pimm’s Cup but I wanted to try something light and new with dinner and it was pretty refreshing.  Probably won’t be my cocktail of choice…maybe during the spring and summer months. John and I made biscuits!!  Well…Pillsbury made biscuits but they were delicious.  We ended the weekend with a lovely coffee date (outside!) and it was delightful. Ready to tackle another week of meetings and prepping to go out of town Saturday.
