The weekend: weirdly warm.  The weather was odd this weekend but I’m not complaining.  I’m the person who would not mind having a warm Christmas. I seriously don’t need snow.  Despite the stress that I feel because of the holiday and other life things, this weekend was pretty good; it’s always nice to have a little fun and try to get your mind off of things.  John and I did make a stop at the movies this weekend to see American Hustle, which we both really liked. Hope everyone has a fantastic holiday; I feel like I have a million things to *try* to do today.

John and I had a picnic…in the car before the movie and it was perfect!  The champagne in the first picture was used to bake some cupcakes, which I’ll feature in my Nooga column (just in time for New Years).  We had a few cocktails with friends at my place Saturday night and I got a chance to watch John and some of his high school play basketball…very entertaining.  The weekend concluded with a a pitstop at one of our favorite places to eat and re-watching Silver Linings Playbook.
