Now that the days/evenings are cooling off, I feel like my weekends are less exciting. I tend to spend less time outside frolicking when it’s cold. This weekend was fairly pleasant though even though the nights were, in my opinion, cold. I’m sure my friends up north would disagree. To be honest, I cannot even blame the weather on my lazy weekend…I’m blaming Netflix. Specifically, Sons of Anarchy. John and I started watching this show a couple of weeks ago and as of Sunday evening, we started season 4. I’ve heard a lot about the show but never found the time or enough interest to watch. It’s definitely been entertaining and a lot of violence. Yikes. I’m also trying a new format for my weekend posts. Yay or nay? Here’s my weekend in a nutshell:
- Tried a new (well, new to me) BBQ restaurant. Love the Q’s brand in the bread, right?
- Made a trip to Home Depot. It’s so interesting to people watch there – so many determined people busily hunting for their DIY supplies.
- I scored a Nate Berkus gold leaf tray from Target over the weekend. So excited…$8! Originally priced at $30.
- Have you tried Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack? Pretty good for a cold night. Drink it straight and warm.
- Don’t forget, there’s a special discount code for eat.drink.frolic. readers if you’re planning on attending the Food Blog South Conference. Click here to purchase tickets.
