There’s nothing like a long weekend.  I was so excited to have an extended weekend, I could barely contain myself.  The last two months have been such a busy time, between work and going back and forth to Virginia – having an extra day off was just what I needed. I’m really looking forward to having all of next week off; can’t decide what I’m going to do with so much time off!  This was a pretty good weekend and I’m looking forward to what the rest of the summer will hold.

John and I are still dog-sitting!  As much as I enjoy her, I’m so tired. There’s a reason why I don’t have a dog. John and I decided to have an impromptu glass of limoncello Friday – so refreshing. Sunday, I went to Atlanta for a few hours to have margaritas with a few of my closest friends.  Monday, I took a delightful walk around my neighborhood and ended the evening with a blood orange martini and fried chicken sliders from Blacksmith’s…yummy!
