What a fantastic weekend!  I was surrounded by good friends, food and beautiful weather – what more could you ask for?  I had out of town guests this weekend and I was so excited preparing for them to arrive.  I baked some of my favorite cookies and made them Tennessee-themed giftbags full of Moonpies (apparently they were introduced in Chattanooga), locally brewed beer, a postcard with a handwritten note and no giftbag is complete without a bottle of Jack Daniels.  I’m pretty sure that this was a perfect weekend.

I bought a plant!

My friends and I went out to Crabtree Farms to frolic around at their plant sale and to see a couple of friends (Sugar Pie & Rusty’s Nutz).  I also bought a plant…a hot and spicy oregano plant.  I was so intrigued I had to buy it.  I ended my weekend with my favorite person eating burgers and drinking whiskey.  How lovely.

This week I’ll be sharing a few tips/suggestions on health, beauty and healthy recipes; there’s even something in there for the men – can’t wait!
