The Weekend

This was a very action packed weekend.  Seriously.  Weddings, parties, Mother’s Day, errands…the list goes on.  I had a long weekend, which was very nice.  Friday night, John and I went to a wedding and had so much fun; we pretty much danced (as did everyone else) all night.  Loved it. Saturday, I attended the Chattanooga Zine Festival and saw some interesting zines and got a chance to meet people to talk about The Chattery. We went to a house party on Saturday and had way too much fun especially knowing that we were getting up early to hang with John’s parents.  Yikes.  The older I get, I’m realizing how not easy it is to recover from staying out late.  Good grief.  I love weekends (duh) and hope my week can be as entertaining as the weekend was.

I’ve become obsessed with these tiny donuts from Monkey Town Donuts here. It’s a food truck and they’re at the Chattanooga Market every Sunday…John’s cousin works there too and the donuts are delicious! If you’re in the Chattanooga area and are interested in learning about photography, The Chattery is offering a photography workshop this week! It’s going to be good.  The instructor is Jaime Smialek of the blog She Wore It Anyways and it’ll be held at Fredonia Provisions for Women.

The class is Wednesday, May 14th at 6pm and the cost is $15.  For more information and to buy tickets, visit The Chattery. Hope to see you there!

Happy Monday!
