The Weekend+Blogaversary

It’s my birthday!  Well, not really.  It’s Eat.Drink.Frolic’s. fourth birthday.  I can’t believe it’s been four years already since I’ve had this blog.  Naturally, I had to celebrate with sequins and bubbly (though I didn’t drink any).  I’m hoping over the next four years, Eat.Drink.Frolic. will continue to see more growth and have more fun, food and drink-filled opportunities.  So – cheers to another four years of eating, drinking and frolicking.

In other news, I feel like spring is so close that I can taste it.  The weather this weekend was gorgeous; I got a chance to sit outside and enjoy brunch after a morning of volunteering. It was quite wonderful.  This weekend was quite busy as I’m preparing to embark on a new adventure today and I’m anxiously getting organized for that and balancing other life adventures.  When new things pop into our lives whether planned or unplanned, it always feels a bit chaotic and overwhelming. I’m trying to get organized and slowly prioritize life so that I can enjoy every bit of the good things happening in my life.  This weekend also included a quick day trip to Atlanta…so yes, you can imagine, I’m tired.  Looking forward to the week ahead and marking some things off of my to-do list.

We’ve been quite busy at The Chattery too having announced another class! We’re so excited about this one.  If you’re interested in participating, just click here to get more info and purchase tickets. John and I visited one of the places we went to on our first date, Aprés Diem, in Atlanta and enjoyed a delicious piece of cake. We also made a stop into our favorite place, Hot Chocolatier as an extra treat on a Friday evening.  The weekend ended with a meeting (go figure) but most importantly, it ended with a beautiful walk around Chattanooga.  In additional to alcohol, inactivity is also something I gave up for Lent.

Happy Monday!
